Was a nicer experience than the Auckland Art Gallery. The collection was representative of Waikato's past and was worth the visit.

It will be worth reading as many exhibits as you can, whether about World War 1 or Maori culture and history. The staff are extremely friendly and there is no entrance fee to the main museum. I bet you would enjoy your visit!

Lovely building overlooking the river. Very friendly staff at reception. Free entry and so much to see and take in. Fascinating exhibits on WWI and the Maori culture, plus a few other exhibitions on the side. Worth a visit.

Heavy Maori themes but pretty small and not very interesting. The building itself is lovely and the art gallery next door is excellent.
