The Lake is very poluted and has been getting worse in the past 15 years we lived in Hamilton. It is heavily contaminated with chemicals from cars oils, pesticide sprays from farmers and Councils staff. Do nor appeoach the lake with young children or pets...More

Beautiful for a walk, do the whole circuit or just a portion. Have a coffee/lunch/an ice cream from the cafe, the kids can play for ages on the fab playground. Lots of beautiful spots for picnics or a game with the kids. Plenty of wildlife...More

It's my understanding that using drones needs permission due to other possible air traffic but as others have stated, ask Hamilton Council.
