Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The smell is amazing! A beautiful peaceful place, with delicious coffee available. We have been coming here for 3 years in a row now, to pick lavender and blueberries. Quiet areas to sit & enjoy the scenery, easy walking & a little shop full of lavender goodies. There is also edible lavender!

The owners were friendly and very accommodating. The backyard is very pleasing to the eyes as well as its smell. We didn't experience the blueberry picking since there's not much berries left for picking.

The entrance fee is relatively cheaper than the one in Auckland.

Imagine a merchant charging you $3 for using their portable loo despite purchasing from their store. That is true....They want me to buy a $3 entrance ticket because their portable loos are inside the farm!Reluctantly I paid but ask them to keep theticket....
That will be my last time to this farm.

Our family have been here twice every December I think we will do it as a yearly visit as this garden never fail to excite us. They don’t have much of that big and wide lavender flower field compared to other fields and garden but they do have a small boutique where in they sell lavender made products name it they got it. The lady owner who also lives at the vicinity informed us that everything is made and produced by them. All organic. They even have a blueberry ice cream and it was delicious 🤤 perfect for a sunny getaway. You pay $10 to PYO lavender or $4 I think just to enter the garden. We bought their lavender jasmine tea in a cute box. I have tried it already at home and it’s really nice and relaxing. Highly recommended this place for families and friends and lovers.

Went here on a short weekend getaway with my boo. Its 1 1/2 hour drive from Auckland City.

$ -fee is reasonable, $2 per person.

The whole area is blooming with lavender so you can see bees are all over the farm.
The farm wasn't that big as I was expecting,(well its a "backyard" farm 🤗) but still it was not disappointing.
The ladies working there were also very nice Nd friendly.

we only took photos of the flowers but if you want they also do pick your own lavender for $10/jar.
They also have a souvenir shop where you can buy dried lavenders and other lavender products.

Over all, it was worth the drive.

This tour might take 30 mins - 1 hour. Nice service. You can cut the lavender for 10$ and take it. They also offer blackberries. Their ice cream is really good since it is fresh.

We made a family day trip to Hamilton in January, visited this attraction and were delightfully surprised by the beauty and serenity of the surrounds and friendliness of the staff. It was easy to lose track of time wandering through the lavendar garden and picking our own blueberries in the orchard. There is a lovely boutique store on site with a range of gifts and souvenirs. While the children enjoyed their freshly made ice cream, the adults indulged in cake and coffee before embarking on the trip back home.

I visited quickly on a wet morning. The lavender still looked spectacular and there are lots of interesting products in the shop. There are blueberry jams to taste and ice cream too. I look forward returning on a sunny day. There is website to check out for their mail order service,

Went there last week. There's no entrance fee for now as they mentioned that we'll find it hard to find the berries. We were able to find a lot of berries. $11 per kilo of berries you pick. Would highly recommend.
