Happened to be passing by en route from Auckland to Hobbiton and wanted a stop off for a leg stretch and coffee. Couldn't have been more surprised by the beautiful, imaginative gardens here, all run by the local "council" and that you did not have...More

I loved the variety of gardens on display. Absorbing, beautiful, inspirational and educational. A great idea, wonderfully executed.

We visited these gardens a few years ago, and they have been added to since then. The "Themed" gardens are wonderful. A pleasant riverside walk from Hamilton City.

We spent a very enjoyable couple of hours here wandering through several individual gardens. Each reflecting its national style. Highly recommended.

We stopped by this garden on the way back to Auckland from Waitomo. We spent 1.5 hour but experienced quite diverse gardens in such a short time. Location, parking space, toilet and overall circulation are better than we expected.
