We were apprehensive about going as the water level was high, however, this meant that there was less chance of scraping against the rocks and getting cuts and bruises! Win win. Just be careful that there’s no debris floating along if you do visit during...More

We spent a while there, it was good fun. Make sure you hold on tight otherwise you can end up scraping yourself on the rocks. We used body boards to go down

This is hours of fun, I had a k-mart blow up boat, then A air mattress both worked great, such fun! A little bit of a drive but all worth it, makes the place so peaceful, a must do for travelers and kiwis alike!

Cool slide, freezong cold water when I was there. People were wearing a wetsuit, that was a great idea against the cold water and against bruises :-)

So much fun, a wet suit helps but is not essential. Great free fun thing to do. Please pick up your broken boards/rubber rings etc., there are 3 bins provided, come on people love the planet!

You go pretty quick - and you can hurt or scrape yourself if you come off - so best to have some form of wet suit - but plenty of kids fly down without a problem. I only did it as i had a wetsuit on. The bigger issue at... More

you should be fine, the water at the end was above my head (1.67m) but not by much & it is not a very big pool, so you can dog paddle over to the edge.
