Had a great day's fun there a couple of years ago (2015 in fact) and access was pretty good considering. Take food and drink as there is NOTHING out there. There is a DoC toilet but take toilet paper just in case, and PLEASE take...More

We only visited this place because we were staying down the road at Eastwoodhill Arboretum and someone told us about it. It was a glorious sunny day and there were so many people here having so much fun. It would be fabulous to give this...More

I visited after a day trip to Rere falls. I didn’t have a go because I broke my arm recently and it just looked like a bad time for me to join in. It was great fun watching others have a go and slide down...More

Cool slide, freezong cold water when I was there. People were wearing a wetsuit, that was a great idea against the cold water and against bruises :-)

So much fun, a wet suit helps but is not essential. Great free fun thing to do. Please pick up your broken boards/rubber rings etc., there are 3 bins provided, come on people love the planet!

All the hope and videos of these falls I wanted to check them out, we didn’t go down it as when we arrived there was rotten food and rubbish everywhere which is very disappointing. Reading reviews of kids getting cuts and requiring IV antibiotics etc....More

Seriously where else in the world can you do this. Slightly dangerous and the warnings about water cleanliness was a slight concern but well worth the risk. My family used boogie boards but I wished we had a tube or an inflatable mattress. Such fun....More

Heaps of fun- my daughter (12yrs) used a boogie board and loved it. If I had a air bed I would have done it; looks safer on an air bed! Just tell your kids to get out of the water or out of the way...More

You go pretty quick - and you can hurt or scrape yourself if you come off - so best to have some form of wet suit - but plenty of kids fly down without a problem. I only did it as i had a wetsuit on. The bigger issue at... More

you should be fine, the water at the end was above my head (1.67m) but not by much & it is not a very big pool, so you can dog paddle over to the edge.
