It's a lovely drive out here - quite and rural, and the falls are lovely. Not spectacular like others throughout the country, but peaceful and idyllic. Worth a visit.

Worth seeing after heavy rain as they fill up with water, but during a drought perhaps not worth the effort to get to them

Definitely worth stopping at. Can even walk behind the waterfall & enjoy the rush as the water flows over the top.

The waterfall was beautiful, and really big. Close by is the Rere rock slide. There isn't much else there. but nice place to stop and be.

It is a beautiful waterfall BUT nothing else here. A shame DOC haven't been able to create a river walk, if there is one, it isn't marked.
