This tour was amazing- great value for money, an insight into hidden culinary gems in a surprising environment. Who would have thought we would see and do and eat the things we did.

Our tour “Taste of the Silk Road” was exactly the ‘travel without actually travelling’ experience we were looking for. , as we were able to try so many different foods (and a couple of drinks) and be guided around we might not even find, let alone know what to order. We went with three generations with the youngest being 10, and it worked really well as an experience for a Christmas gift. Mary was a great guide and kept us interested the whole time as well as being very organised. The food was varied and even though we have travelled fairly widely between us, there were plenty of new discoveries. My twelve year old daughter asked if we could do an tour every year! We would certainly recommend and would look to do another tour with Mary. I don’t want to describe any of the food or experiences in detail as I think it’s more fun to be surprised!

I'd done the Sandringham and Dominion Road tours in the past with Lisa, and was relieved when Mary took over ownership of this great business. When she added a Hidden Tastes of Panmure tour I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did, Mary is very passionate and knowledgeable and a great host. This tour is a wonderful taster introduction to the delights of multi-ethnic Panmure - it definitely makes you want to return and explore and taste more, and you definitely don't leave hungry.

Nice Ice cream tour in @Giapo with lovely guide. Reasonable price and nice program they have. Next time I want to try another food tour as well.

Glad to have met Lisa on my combo tour! My original tour had to cancel 2 days prior and luckily I found the Eat Auckland tours and Lisa was able to confirm the booking before my flight back to the US. She was amazing and very knowledgeable about the food and the places we visited. Definitely come hungry as there were lots of wonderful food to try. Will come back to try their other tours too.

I booked this for my husband's birthday present and would have to rate as one of the best things we've done in Auckland in the last 14 years. What fun exploring a part of Auckland we never knew existed in such diversity and flavoursome food. Loved our afternoon and have recommended it to others, and will do one of the other ones again soon! Thank you

My wife and I did the tour and our overall experience was excellent. Our tour guide, Andre, was very knowledgable and he knew a lot of historical details about many food (and other) places around Ponsonby and at no stage did we feel bored. All the owners/managers of the places we visited were warm and welcoming. There was ample food and snacks on offer at these places which was served most graciously.

Had a great time with Lisa on her Balmoral Tour, she was an active and exciting hostess and relayed all kinds of great information on the many different dishes and restaurants. The food was excellent as well, and I would happily go to one of her other tours.

From the very informative introduction and COOL Mango drink to the experience of the Indian supermarket the afternoon was surprise after surprise. The many Indian and Sri Lankan dishes presented certainly makes one want to return and share their custom.
