Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

On the edge of the city is a park with playing fields, shady groves of old trees, and a playground. No need to say more.

Named after Queen Victoria, this is more an open space than a park in the true sense. Mainly used for sport - cricket. The downtown and waterfront areas are not too far away and any green space in a city is to be welcomed

Never be critical of a park in any city but as parks go this is large and green and hence a big plus but it was not a well-developed or special park, but it was large and green. It has been around since 1905 and was named after the Queen who had died four years earlier.

We walked down Franklin Street and this park on the left side was a lovely, inviting spot to rest. There were benches. There were families with young children using the swings. There are many trees too. Nice break before we reached our hotel.

This is 1 of a number of fairly small beaches going from point Chev all the way to the harbour bridge. This feels like a small escape and generally is not crowded so it's a nice place to come hang out.

I don't know what to say about Victoria park really? Open space good for temporary fairs and fêtes. Is very noisy from nearby motorway.

Situated just outside the Auckland CBD, and in front of our hotel, Victoria Park was an enjoyable place to walk through, to and from the city centre.

An empty space that may, if you are lucky you may see kids playing cricket, fife and drum groups, bag pipers...or nothing

There are plenty of parks in Auckland and this is just another one. A large field which is good for sports, nothing special.

We enjoyed a bottle of wine while sitting in the park watching people walking dogs and guys play rugby. Nice flat park and worth a walk around to take it all in.
