We chose the ferry and bus tour. Jumped out at the mai. Village for lunch. Best lunch ever. Overlooking the ocean, sipping wine. Well worth a visit

If you like wine then please go the wineries are great, I’d recommend an overnight stay if you can get accomodation, we wished we did, the tourist hop on hop off bus gets you to all the wineries then back to town so you will... More

I prefer the hop on hop off... you may not get all the way around the wineries.. you may get stuck at 1 or 2 and really enjoy them... can that be bad?

Yes, the ferry is very easy to find and travel is not expensive. You take the Fullers ferry from dock 9 I believe in Auckland. Lots of trips throughout the day and eve. Very nice island to visit and stay if you have the... More
