Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Clevedon is 30 mins max from the Auckland CBD. The drive out there is something special.

Take a trip to Clevedon, check out the scenic rural farmland views and forget about the stress of the City.

Stop by and enjoy the Clevedon Village Markets and the Farmers Markets on a Sunday. Spend time having lunch at the local cafes and visit the little Art Shops and Gift stores.

Hunua Waterfalls are close by as well. Take a picnic.

Close by is Ardmore Airport, watch the Warbirds fly out.

Just hop in the car and do it!

My fave Sunday drive.

A great walk around... nature.
Park your car along the street and may be grab a coffee or a drink.
A small town (Clevedon) with just a few shops.
Head towards the hill for a walk and exercise those muscles.
Great view of the local scenery and a waterfall.
Great space for kids to runs around and even your pets dogs mainly, not cats).
Relax for the day and after a long or short walk around the hill and bushes--- may be drive straight towards the beach (Maraetai) for a dip.
A Great place to relax and Enjoy life !!

Lovely walk in Clevedon, a great place to visit especially on a Sunday where you can visit the farmers market and the church market and enjoy some rural cafe's. You can combine it with this walk. Took my 2 and 4 year old daughter and my 4 year old and they enjoyed playing on the confidence course, although meant for a lot older kids/adults. The best way to go up especially if it is wet is via the Puriri Walking Track as there are a lot more tree roots so easier to go up that was rather than the Totara Walking Track which has a lot more steps.

We walking up here around 5pm in early January after a hot day, and this walk definitely added the heat! Camp Sladdin had many stairs and was a nice workout for me and my friends. Once we reached the top we had a look out around Clevedon which looked so nice on a summers day. Make sure you bring water with you as you will definitely need it!!
