Chanthara at the Sky Tower I Site was so helpful when our trip to Tiri Tiri Matangi was cancelled by the operator because of the weather. She had several helpful suggestions, and was friendly and very professional. New Zealand tourism is going through some hard times at the moment, and we need more people like Chanthara in the industry. Excellent service.

This one is located right in Middle of City near SkyCity. You get info about all city attractions and main restaurants all at one place

Site was the tourist information center in Auckland and the one I went to was located in Skycity. The Sky Tower is above Skycity. I got a map from there. The staff was helpful.

Stopped by to ask where is the bus stop for Mt Eden.. Instead, the guy at i-Site tried to sell us some day tour that would cost NZ$75..... We were not interested in any type of tours.. At first, I tried to be nice by saying we didn't know our plans.. he kept pushing for it and even told us he sold the same tour to the previous guest...
I finally told him we were not interested. He gave us this "upset" look and just told us to take the bus (which was our original question: where is the bus stop).. I had to ask again about the bus stop...
We were kind of disappointed since we heard so much good things about i-Site.

i was greeted by Mr Satoshi when he saw me browsing around. He offered great advices which were very practical and helpful. also, what i found at this isite is that there is a board, at the entrance, where some special offers for trips were written. wished i had found this site much earlier as i would have saved some money.

There is two sites in Auckland-one at Sky City in Victoria Street and one at Princess Wharf at 147 Quay Street. They have a wealth of in formation but unlike ither visitor sites they do not have postcards as the souveneir shops nextdoor has them but more expensive.

Stopped by after going to the top of Skytower to get information on other tours and experiences suitable for a family. The person I dealt with was excellent - able to give information off the top of their head that was accurate and relevant.

Do you offer day tours to Rotorura?
Can you recommend any other day trips from Auckland. We will be visiting in March from Canada for 5 days so wish to do day or half day tours
