A quaint small garden in the heart of the city. As we visited in early April saw plenty of beautiful roses in full bloom. A nice place to just chill out as the saying goes, don't forget to stop and smell the roses :) and...More

Its a good place to see roses but don´t expect too many of them. Nice walk back to Parnell or to mission bay.

Great place for walk, picnic and the most incredible views. Great to visit all year round. When the roses are in bloom its even prettier

Well worth the walk, in combination with Judges bay and St Stephens Chapel. You don't need to be a fan of Roses to appreciate the setting and various vantage points give great views

The gardens are lovely and well maintained. I enjoy going there to have a snack on their park benches. The sparrows are excessively friendly and will eat out of your hands whether you like it or not.

There will be some flowers in August, - it is the end of winter in Auckland, so they won't be at their best. The gardens are still worth a visit. Enjoy

Wouldn't be much to see as it's middle of winter and the plants and roses are dormant.
