Majestic view from the top especially at night time. But would need to pick a day where the wind is not too strong, which can spoil the experience.

Really enjoyed it here, it was easy to get to and after a short walk we were treated to unspoilt views over the city and surroundings. Perfect.

Well worth the effort of the short steepish walk for 360 views of the city. Definitely a must do on a trip to Auckland to get your bearings of the city

We stopped here as part of a bus tour. The walk up isn't difficult however a little fitness is required. Once at the top the views are amazing of the city and surrounding area. From start to finish was probably around 45 mins and that...More

The walk was not too far and the views of the city from the top were great. You then looked the other way and were greeted with the huge crater 😊

Love mt Eden village. The shops, the eateries, in the heart of mt Eden, surrounded by many villas and bungalows make mt Eden unique and oozing charm!

Easy walk up the road and great views at the top. The vilcanic crater is impressive but as its Taupo (Maori religiois site ) you cant go into it.

This is a nice easy hike with great views of Auckland! Parking lot is on the smaller side but easy to find parking as people don't tend to stay very long due to the short hike.

It was well worth the walk up the hill of Mount Eden. Views of the whole of Auckland was amazing in helping to get one's bearings. It was very windy so be prepared... The crater itself was also interesting.

Hi, i think it depends on your level of fitness and if you are walking from the road all the way up or from the small car park. A small torch or torch from your mobile is enough to get you up and down safely. We never had... More

Hi. Yep absolutely. It's concreted footpath all the way up. So if you go slow, weather is nice and you are wearing comfortable gear - you will be good as gold! Good luck!;)
