Albert Park is one of Auckland's best parks which is centrally located in the heart of the city with colourful flower display.

Nice park in the middle of Auckland
Dec 2019
Nice and well maintained park in the middle of Auckland. I stopped there for a while during my short walk from Sky Tower to wharf.

Good for walks or exercise

It's a nice park with beautiful flowers during spring, summer, until autumn. Peaceful and relaxing place.
However, the public toilet here is not pleasant unlike to the other parks around the city.

Central Park!
Mar 2020
Albert Park can be categorised as Central Park - Auckland version, right in the centre of the city with a great view of the city and Auckland Sky Tower.
It's a lovely walk around the park. Also, it's a very short walk through Auckland Art Gallery, then Lorne Street on which can be viewed as a Korea Town.
It's a lovely place to relax, picnic, or a small family meeting.

A Place to Relax
Feb 2020
A nice, small park in the north of the city, not far from the university. Named after Prince Albert the park has some lovely native trees as well as plenty of flowers for that splash of colour. An ideal spot to sit and watch the world go by before heading off for some retail therapy in the nearby streets.

Lovely

A lovely little park close to the city. The art gallery is in the corner. There are formal flower beds, interesting trees, statues old and new, a bandstand and some old guns. It is quiet and peaceful and a nice break during a busy day.

Nice and quiet, a few statues and plenty of chairs to sit
Feb 2020
I found this park jogging from the Sheraton 4 Points and it was a pleasant place to jog but also returned later to sit and take in the peace and quiet. There are a few historical states, one of Queen Victoria. It's just a nice quiet place to relax in the middle of the city.

Peaceful niche in the middle of hubbub
Feb 2020
Strolled here mid afternoon. Mix of shade and sunny areas, benches throughout, quiet enclave, paved paths, Victoria statue in her usual mourning clothes. Flowers bit bedraggled with the 40 day rain lapse. Walk up Victoria St and take the stairs.

Lovely Little Park
Dec 2019
We strolled through Albert Park on the way back from the War Museum to our hotel. As most of parks with British influence, Albert Park is charming, well kept and appeared to be very safe as all the areas of Auckland we visited.
