    Nice Park
This is a lovely park in the middle of a busy city. It's a nice escape and has plenty of benches around so you can sit and linger. Locals bring their lunches here as well. We enjoyed spending time here to relax after doing a lot of walking.

    Scenic Park
This well maintained park is near the Art Museum and University of Auckland. In here there are quite a few places to sit and relax. There are some nice statues and sculptures. We enjoyed the view of the many nearby towers including the clock tower of the university and the Sky Tower.

Beautiful park with some challenging hills
This is a great park for various reasons. First, it's a great garden and generally has a wonderful display of flowers. It's groomed to perfection, thanks to Auckland Council's dedicated team. The flowers change with the season, so it's always a surprise. It's also a great place for families and friends to meet. It's where people have graduation pictures taken and also enjoy lunch of dry days. It's a great place for some exercise. You can climb up and down steep steps and enjoy flat areas while doing a circuit. It's a great place for a lunchtime walk!

Directly behind the Auckland Art Gallery and up the hill, quite impressed with the gigantic trees within this quaint town, not to big to make it from 1 end to the other fairly quickly, Nice old statues including Queen Victoria and few more, gazebo, fountain and many benches to take a break on.
Highly recommend

It was a bit wet when we were there, however, the park is nice. It is set in the city and a good respite from the urban area around it. Very good landscaping.

Great hilly park for strolling. I would bring a book and read here since it was really quiet and nice to observe and see other passersby
