The Americas cup village is great
Many great cafes and restaurants
Great Place to watch the Americas cup on the big screen
Or even better get on one of the spectator boats and head out for the course for a great day on the water
excellent vibe happening

Great to visit - excellent shop and view of boats
Jan 2020
Although the whole of Auckland is a nightmare with building works it is well worth making your way down to this area. The boats are amazing.

Picturesque
Dec 2018 • Family
I walked around the village. Picturesque village, wharf and lots of places to eat. You can buy tickets to sail on the America's cup style boat.

Area in which you walk through. Interesting. Got to see bridge opening for yachts to go through. Interesting area. Also closed to the Maritime museum.

Not A *must do*, But Pleasant Experience on a fine Summer day
Mar 2016 • Friends
It's a nice part of Auckland to wander around, in combination with Wynyard Quarter and Viaduct Harbour, but mostly you'd be there for the plethora of eateries on its periphery!

A good place to take an evening stroll and look at the super yachts at their moorings
Nov 2016 • Family
As per the title, a good place for a stroll and to take in the sites, specifically all the super yachts at anchor ... some of which can be chartered. A good place to start out from in terms of finding a place to have a dinner or just a dessert or maybe even just a coffee, with plenty of eateries within minutes. Heading towards Silo Park, one also has to cross the bridge and if lucky, it will open to allow a boat to enter the marina and this is quite a spectacle at night, as is the skyline, both across to Devonport as well as that of the CBD.

Great for boaties
Aug 2016 • Friends
If you're a boatie and looking for somewhere to meander around on the weekend or visiting Auckland this is a great option. Close to lots of eating places and reasonable parking and transport facilities.

A Waterfront to spend a week end or live here
Jun 2016
We live in St Heliers and have a delightful beach front, but it cannot compare with the Wynyard Quarter and America Cup Village where Hip meets Hop and sunshine makes the place absolutely magical. So, when we want to pick ourselves up, we head off to the America Cup village and water front for a bit of that "Anytime magic".

The food on offer, the bars, the random and meandering walk about and the tram ride if you have kids in tow ....... all serve up an awesome experience.

If you are lucky, a billionaire's super yacht will be docked and you will wonder "What if that was mine". So go down to the America's Cup Village and take your family and friends. You cannot do better.
