We stopped in Parnel partly into a 6 hr drive to take a break. Easy parking and lots of choice for somewhere to have a nice coffee. Special upmarket shops galore. Easy access on and back on to the motorway

Over rated and things over priced. But a nice place to walk and have a coffee. Some good eateries but then so has Auckland city. I thought Karangahape Road was more interesting and representative of real Auckland.

A lot of vintage shops, coffee shops and restaurants can be found in this charming area. A great place to wander around.

One of the more upmarket areas in Auckland; Quaint shops and art galleries. Catch the bus across from Central Auckland or if you fancy the walk it is a good stroll. Do not expect to much from the Sunday Market if you are visitor

Well, it is a historical road or place, a lot of people know about this road, at least the location, between city centre and Newmarket. It is not really a spectacular place to stroll, however for food lovers there are heaps of nice restaurants or...More

There were a lot of restaurants, gift shops, cafes. It also gives you a better feel for Auckland’s everyday life as it is lined with small neighborhood stores and businesses.
