I found some beautiful jewellery in a little shop down an alley by following elephant paws on the ground.

A great place to visit if you don't have a lot of time but want to soak up some of the victorian charm of this village - lovely shops, great eating places, great places to buy original Kiwi art and souvenirs that are not made...More

One of the more upmarket areas in Auckland; Quaint shops and art galleries. Catch the bus across from Central Auckland or if you fancy the walk it is a good stroll. Do not expect to much from the Sunday Market if you are visitor

There were a lot of restaurants, gift shops, cafes. It also gives you a better feel for Auckland’s everyday life as it is lined with small neighborhood stores and businesses.

We used hop on hop bus to explore Auckland, finding this cute area was great. We enjoyed window shopping, and a local restaurant.

The perfect place to wander along on a summer's evening and take in all the delicious sights and smells, decide which restaurant to visit and enjoy the elegant shop windows. Don't just stick to the Main Street, wander off and explore the little wooden walkways...More

This street gas everything regarding shops, restaurants and cafes! A great advantage to the CBD but close enough to take a bus or a taxi in. I shall stay there again in preference to the CBD as it is around 40% cheaoerM

This area looked great from the bus but many of the shops, restaurants and bars are closed down and many others were closed mid afternoon on a Friday. We did have a lovely lunch at an Indian restaurant at the top of the high street

A lovely spot to stay. Not far from the city centre. Plenty of restuarants and shopping. The restaurants offer a variety of cuisine. Parnell has a lot of lovely historical sights.
