There is a bit here to be enjoyed by all people. For me the tram ride was a highligt along with the cars and planes. Some could have spent a lot more time there.

Myself and some friends had a great day at this Museum. You can get very close to some large aircraft's - they also had entertainment for the kids in the outside area.

The display and the staff were really good. Many display and activities for kids to help them learn, explore and also have fun in the process. And if you loves trams & locomotives, there're plenty of them as well.

The Museum of Transport and technology is a very well maintained place full of history many of our young and old would love. Its a step back in time and a reality check as to what happened and where we can go next, Space.

Children would be fascinated by the hands on experiences. Loved the tram that took us from one site to the other.

my advice would to not bother finding a motel specifically near motat, rather look into the best motels in central auckland . it's not very far from the central city
