Rangihoua Estate also has lovely gardens surrounded by olive groves and native New Zealand Forest, forming a natural amphitheatre. Through-out the year we host public events including the Waiheke Olive and Artisan Food Festival each November and the Waiheke International Jazz Festival every April. Very interesting to learn about olive trees, the harvesting of olives and the production of olive oil. They also explain the different types of olive oil.

Lovely show and tasting room! The staff were informative and helpful. They produce olive oil and wine as well as carry other products. Tastings were explanatory and as they have won several awards and recognition for their oil it was a surprise to find out...More

Very informative. Takes you through the picking of the olives to production of oil. Many types of olives grown on the island. The tasting was eye opening. Taste 3 oils and some spreads. Can taste the quality. Worthwhile visit.

I enjoyed 4 different olive oils during the free tasting along with a couple relishes. All were good. You can also see the olive trees out back.

Lovely time and learnt a lot about Olives, and the preparation of Olive Oil. They have their own cold press machine! I highly recommend a visit when in Waiheke Island!

Lovely place where you can go on an informative tour of the olive processing plant, sample the various oils and enjoy the sun in the pretty little patio area.

There were 4 oils and all tasted great and quite different to each other. The tamarind chutney is delicious as was the herb spread. Staff are friendly and helpful. There are soaps, skin creams, ceramics, etc available to purchase. We didnt do wine tasting but...More
