Day out

Lovely food but abit pricey. You pay extra for train ride with your entry fee. Feed the animals, some work going on for more exhibits, playground for kids. Not far from airport.

This is a cool place to take the kids. Thousands of butterflies in natural habitat. Plus a train ride, good food available at their cafe. Cool day out.

The opportunity to wander in an open enclosure where butterflies will land on yo, if you stand still, this us the place for you. Some of the exhibits are abit dated but the other popular stop for us was the option of feeding the animals. Our grand daughter delighted in the experience and we returned more than once! The train... More

This is a nice place to take children to, a bit pricey but good, they do kids parties, have lots of animals for kids to pat, a nice lot of dinosaurs that move and a small train to ride on.

Just dropped in for a look-see on the way to the airport. Had a delicious coffee and took ages to select something to eat because everything looked so tempting and I couldn't make up my mind.

We had a few hours to fill in while waiting for a flight. Butterfly Creek is a great way to fill in some time. We found it a short walk from the airport, they stored our bags out the back, and then we found they offer a free shuttle to the airport. Butterflys were very cool, even landed on us.... More

Seemed to only have a few butterfly species, or a majority of one species the day we visited but there were plenty of them. Hardly any monkeys in an average cage. Farm animals was the highlight for us, as was the great cafe. Food was great and good value for money. Would visit the cafe again but at only $5... More

So we decided to try out butterfly creek not only was it close to where we were staying traffic was light. Our grandson loved the farm animals and... More
