This was an exciting tour filled with views, fact ,and great group plus tour guide. We went to some great views and interesting sites. The lunch was great because we when to a restaurant that employed less then mentally capable individuals who cooked some great dished and great personalities. Great place for a meal that's great plus helps others.

Meet promptly at my hotel, A well Dress lady in a distinctive uniform, she then ask my needs adapted bed-spoke my tour.
The standard of driven and her skill to navigate a round Auckland and surrounding area was second to none.
over the next 7 hours I have seen waterfall, gannets nesting explained about the history of New Zealand, told about the fauna and flora how they managing disease of some of the native trees. I was treated with respect and dignity nothing was too much to ask for. included in the trip was, water snacks honey testing, on the tour, the we went for a Three course meal with wine and port testing at Soljans Estate Winery,
we walked to fantastic waterfalls.to beaches great land marks, and breath taking views
the Team give 100% and more to me customer,
One of the very few Companies that cater for sole traveler.
I would recommend to old, young, solo travellers groups, all traveler do there best to fit around your needs, the vehicles are immaculate comfortable air-conditioned easy to get into and out with a good 360° vision.
Thank you for this great experience and memories I have, of being in Auckland New Zealand which I will reflect on through pictures, videos which taken for me on my phone and camera, my family and friends love to see. My family & Friends would have miss out because of being a solo traveler.

As part of the Auckland Activation Fund our group of 12 were fortunate enough to have a custom made private tour organised by Kristi & Kellee. From the moment we were collected in the very comfortable modern Mercedes’ vehicle we knew we were in for a special day. Our outing begun with a trip to Ayrlies Gardens and Wetlands in Whitford where armed with complementary fruit & snacks we were led thru the gardens by Luanna who did her best to answer our many questions and keep us on track. We walked part of the Wetlands before being met by Kristi & Kellee who took our lunch orders and delivered us to Howick Historic Village for an enjoyable lunch followed by a tour of the Village. We were then driven back to Auckland and pleased we had experienced some of what East Auckland has to offer. Thanks to TIME Unlimited for making this tour possible. Very friendly and approachable guides. Well recommend.

Our first morning in Auckland, we did a City tour, with Tme Unlimited, to get a feel for the City. Although the tour itself was very interesting, and we stopped at several good viewpoints, and were given some excellent information about the city, unfortunately we were only doing half, of what seemed to e a full-day tour for most people. As a result, we felt a bit 'second class', with the guide constantly saying things like, "This afternoon we will be..." We were even told that we had to 'sit at the back of the minibus, as we were only doing the the morning tour'!

Thanks Caroline and Paul, yes we recall you were staying at Hotel DeBrett and we specially arranged to pick you up first. Thanks for at least adding in the start of your review that you enjoyed the tour as that is consistent with the feedback we received from others on the day. We appreciate all feedback as it helps us understand how we can continue to optimize our experiences for others from various cultures and your perspective matters to us. To respond to your other points, we wanted you to know, like other operators, logistically we often combine the half and full day tours as they are designed to flow together and is not about making you feel different to those who may have decided to book a longer tour than you. Secondly, our guides will often give an update during the tour referencing along the way what to expect later in the tour as people are keen to know what lies ahead. You are correct they would have mentioned some aspects of what is covered later in the day but you were only booked on the am city portion. Furthermore, you were not alone as there were 2 other couples that were being hosted on our half day experience. We always strive to pick up our half day guests first (as we did in your case) as we know you will not be in our care as long as the full day guests, so we actually wanted to give you special treatment being first. Where we take on your point is around you on this specific tour being directed to the back. We have checked in with our guides and they said they don’t recall specifically advising guests where to sit but recall it was heavy Monday commuter traffic day and others were waiting for their pickup across town so they may have appeared rushed to get everyone on board quickly. We are very saddened to read how you felt in the last sentence of your feedback comment and we can only offer our sincere apology to you both in that respect. We hope that it does not detract from the overall experience of the tour, beautiful Mercedes luxury vehicle and complimentary water and snacks you received as part of your tour with us. Our group of seven was big enough to justify having a private tour both days. The first day we did a city tour with Sofia that covered the Waitakere Ranges including Arataki Visitors Center, Piha Beach, North Head Historic Reserve, Devonport (which included lunch) and Bastion Point.
Both Sofia and our second TIME Unlimited tour guide, Harry, were of Polynesian ancestry but were adopted by the Maoria community. Both had fascinating stories about the historical settlement of New Zealand and the politics that played out over the years.
On your second day Harry had the uneviable task of taking us to the Waitomo Glow Worms Caves followed by a stop at Hobbiton before dropping us off in Rotorua. He then had to make the 3 hour drive home.
But while we were with him his stories made the windshield time fly by. He mentioned having been a member of Maori cultural band that toured the United States 12 years in a row which made him very familiar with where we live (near Los Angeles) and U.S. customs different from New Zealand. He also made a point of stopping for ice cream when we mentioned we needed a snack between Waitomoa and Hobbiton. What a great guy.
We could not have been more pleased with both Sofia and Harry during our two tours. The vans were comfortable. Water was provided. A great experience all the way around.

We recently cruised from Auckland to Sydney, but before we embarked we spent three wonderful days with the amazing Hazel, our private guide, who left no stone unturned. Hazel took us on glorious hikes (called “guided walks”) to beautiful waterfalls and boiling beaches (no, really!). We toured Auckland from all vantage points and learned the history of the city and of New Zealand’s Maori heritage. Hazel took us from coast to coast, from Piha to Hahei to Waikato with all the stunning, eye-popping scenery New Zealand has to offer. We could have easily spent 3 additional days with all there is to see and do. Hazel is a great ambassador for for her job; smart, knowledgeable, insightful, fun and funny. We had the time of our life! We are planning our return ASAP to explore more of this beautiful island nation. If there’s a more beautiful place on earth I can’t image where it would be.

Even though I live in East Auckland, I had never visited the Buddhist Temple. I have also never been to the Clevedon Country Market, the Warbirds, or the Howick Historic Village, despite driving past these landmarks all the time. We were taken on a luxury bus to see all these attractions and our tour guide, Kristi, was very friendly, helpful and knowledgable. She was also very attentive. Thank you to TIME Unlimited for organising this memorable day.

Fantastic tour around Auckland

Our party was a party of 2, but there were more vehicle seats open. They should have no problem accommodating a 3 person party. I recommend checking with TIME to confirm as they could have a confirmed answer. Best of luck!

HI I checked TIME unlimited and their only two tours are nothing like your description. And they are $275.00 or $350.00 pp and not even taken to a Maori village. How did you get your tour arranged and would you mind telling me the cost and how much time you took to do the things you described? WE are arriving on a cruise and only have about 12 hours from Auckland. Thanks for any info you can share. jackie

Breathtaking views (tour guide Sophia) sounds wonderful, but I could not find out more specific information. It seemed that many different tours were being rated and I could not get more information or sign up for a specific tour. We have a couple of days in Auckland before joining a cruise ship on November 8, 2015, and want to see the best sights! We are a couple of active seniors.

My husband and I are going to be touring New Zealand on a Princess Cruise, docking in Aukland on Sunday, March 15, 2015 around 7 AM.
We are interested in getting off the ship in the morning and driving up to the Goat Island Marine Reserve to see the Marine Discovery Centre and do some snorkeling. But, because the Princess excursions do not include an excursion up there, I've been trying to figure out the best way to get up there from the Aukland port and back before the ship sails at 6:00 PM.
We really don't want to rent a car or drive it ourselves, we'd want some sort of tour guide.
Does your company offer this kind of service for two people?
