Gail came to Gisborne to run a two day workshop for our camera club, one for Lightroom for Beginners and the other Macro Magic. Gail is a fantastic tutor, so knowledgable and talented, and also very patient! Plenty of notes to follow along with also. We loved having Gail and we all enjoyed our learning time with her very much.

This tour has been very inspiriting and I’m really feeling delighted to have been able to be a part of this and I will try to continue to keep going on the other tours as well! I’ve learned many things not just about photography but wine as well! It’s been very interesting and beautiful breathtaking natural! Also, presented really well by Robert and Randy! I’m really pleased to have done this tour and met wonderful people there! Thank you Robert and Randy! And can’t wait to see you soon!

Lots of fun, found Dave's tips and tricks really helpful. I'm a bit of an introvert, being with other photographers gave me the confidence to approach people and ask to take their photo. Great to be shown different ways to capture candid shots and look at different areas of Auckland.

NZ Photography Tours arranged with Gisborne Camera Club to hold a weekend of workshops presented by Gail Stent. The topics included an introduction to Lightroom, creative Macro photography and creative processing in Photoshop. The workshops were held in Gisborne, including a day spent at Eastwoodhill Arboretum.
Gail Stent presented wonderful workshops - we all learnt heaps and finished the weekend with our brains buzzing with information and ideas. She provided clear notes that we will be able to use going forward. It was a delight to learn from her - she was so informative, enthusiastic and patient.
This was a first for Gisborne Camera Club - and we sincerely hope not the last.
Gail Stent presented wonderful workshops - we all learnt heaps and finished the weekend with our brains buzzing with information and ideas. She provided clear notes that we will be able to use going forward. It was a delight to learn from her - she was so informative, enthusiastic and patient.

I did a one-on-one photoshop training session with Gail Stent.
She was incredibly thorough and taught me a huge amount in the three hours we had.
Robert was also very responsive and helpful in helping to determine my needs and fit me with a suitable trainer. Really lovely people, highly knowledgeable and very happy to help. Highly recommended. Thank you again.

The abstract theme of the course really opened my eyes to a different way of looking and using the camera. Some of the results were fantastic and Judy is a really talented guide, both in helping you to capture images and then in post production. Her studio is a great environment and with the bush, birds and beach at Murawai you would struggle to find a more diverse environment for photographic inspiration. Thanks very much for a fantastic time Judy.

Many thanks for the nice review and indeed bad weather can give you great opportunities for impressionist photography.
I am very happy your eyes opened up and you were able to embrace Judy's teachings.
Her knowledge together with the Muriwai surroundinsg definately help to create some nice images.
And I very much love the ones you sent us; these were great to look at and hopefully a start of a different style of photography for you.

I did Judy's Impressionism workshop and had a ball. Judy has so much knowledge and she's keen to share it. it is well worth doing this workshop if you've ever been interested in learning about impressionism and abstract type photography. Muriwai is the perfect playground.

I thoroughly enjoyed Gail's Lightroom presentation. Her workshop was worthwhile, easy to follow. Understand and grasping the intricacies of photo management and development was a breeze. I highly recommend these workshops
