We spent the day in kings park and of course had to do the DNA tower climb whilst there. You do need to look for the tower though as it is tucked away a little bit off the main road.

A short walk near to Frasers Restaurant on Kings Park. Free with good views. Doesn’t take long to go up or down (5 minutes) but it’s design is something a little be different with two intertwined staircases. Large open grasses area below with car park....More

Based on a French style staircase the tower is a 100 step climb to the top. Don't worry about running out of energy as there are multiple stop-off points on the way up. Once at the top you may be unsettled by the gentle swaying...More

Fun tower to climb for both the exercise and the view. Bring your camera and get some great shoots. The view is beautiful all around.

Came back to this tower for another visit after a considerable gap. Good exercise to climb it quickly and time yourself to the top. My daughter was able to do it in 30 seconds, which is not bad for a young child.

Walking up the swath of grass from the Zamia cafe to the DNA tower is one of the most pleasant outings on a summer day. Then stretch yourself with an easy climb to the top for super views. Getting in touch with nature!

Such a fascinating piece of art which also means something. There are a lot of steps to climb, but it is amongst some beautiful parkland and when you get to the top you will be so glad you made the effort. Views across the city...More
