St George's Terrace is the main business street of Perth. Perth is a mini Manhattan on the Swan, most of the big buildings are in St George's Terrace. It can get windy at times -- Perth is said to be the third windiest city in...More

Although some heritage buildings this terrace more reflects the business district of Perth. More interesting streets with shops & heritage would be Hay & Murray Streets

St Georges Terrace is like the main strip. Nth Side you have mostly the shopping, Sth side the river area. And St. Georges lots of history and business. I fine it to be the most convenient area to stay. Its always clean and well presented.

Nice for walking around and popping into shops, cafes and restaurants, that are plenty in the area. The streets are clean.

The streets are clean the side streets have some good cafes and bars. Well worth a walk or hop on and off the bus if you want to move around faster.

Main thoroughfare. Large office buildings. Not too bad for traffic. Plenty of places for lunch, especially for the office workers. Pretty soulless when they go home.

Not a large cathedral, but still a beautiful one. Built with red bricks it looks beautiful. The stain glass windows are nice as well. Like all large stone buildings they are always cool and a tranquil place to spend a few minutes.

If you walk down St George's Tce, make sure to look up above. Some of the older buildings have inscriptions of a previous life and make for interesting reading. It is hidden gems that make St George's Tce interesting, otherwise it is just another busy...More
