No visit to Broome would be complete without a visit to Cable Beach. At low tide it is a beautiful expanse of white sand.... a destination for 4 wheel drives! The camel rides leave from here several times a day. At sunset, people picnic on...More

Excellent beach with umbrella/chairs for hire, few people. Crystal clear and warm water. Restaurants and pub nearby for an after beach drink.

The sand is beautiful. The environment is pristine. The water is so warm! We experienced a tidal drop of over 10 metres within six hours. A 400m wide beach was suddenly only a few metres wide. To the North of the 'rocks', you can drive...More

Enjoyed the sunset each afternoon. Early morning walks along this long beach. Didn't unfortunately swim in water as stingers had been around over the last week or so. Locals don't swim. Tourists don't swim. Water was warm though.

What's a visit to Broome without visiting this iconic beach. Have to be truthful thought the beach was sort of ordinary. The sunset was glorious though.
