The bay , particularly the Mangrove Hotel is an extremely popular viewing area for Stairway to the Moon event. When the moon rises it appears to create a stairway. Millions of photos would have been taken of this notable event

The view to the East and the South East provides a spectacular sunrise view and complements the views at dusk as the sun sets. Great photo opportunity but take insect repellent and at least one spare battery and camera card.

We actually stayed in an apartment right on the edge of the Beach at Roebuck Bay. We were able to watch the last Staircase to the Moon from our balcony which was just wonderful. We were up very early each morning to watch the sun...More
