Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Our visit didn’t coincide with the full moon, so we missed the experience of the “stairway to heaven”. The Bay is expansive and the crystal blue water is a distinct feature. There are good views from both the viewing platform and other vantage points in Broome.

I had several occassions to go into/ onto Roebuck Bay. Willy Cruise, WW2 wrecks, Dinosaur tracks, cruise up creek. Wild/ marine life abounds. Too early for the birds but saw sea snake, dolphins, short fin dolphins, amazing creatures on the wrecks.

Nice area of foreshore to walk along as it follows the mangroves & the curves of the bay.
Bring insect repellant as midges (sand fleas) live in all mangrove areas & they bite!
Lots of blue colours which are lovely to witness as the tide goes in and out a long way. A pretty spot to spend some time looking around.
Also very beautiful to be seen from the air.

The turquoise water of Roebuck Bay are just beautiful - the waters look so inviting. The only downside is there is not much access to the beach as there are mangroves everywhere. However the general area is very nice.

The views over Roebuck Bay in Broome are great no matter when you visit, either day or night. At night if you are lucky you can witness the Stairway to the Moon and by day you can see a the mangroves supporting the bird and sea life as well as the tranquility of just looking out over the water.

Broome scooter hire.
Hired 2 scooters to run around Broome. Very easy riding!
Amazing service! Came and collected us from our accommodation, explained how to use and stay safe on scooter. Great scooters in immaculate condition. At end of hire, we dropped scooters at their garage, they took us back to hotel to collect bags then on to airport. Amazing customer service. So helpful and a joy to deal with! Highly recommend!

Nice spot offering good views of the bay from a few spots. It’s more of a background view, bit much to actually do but walk along the foreshore. A lot of pubs/bars and lookouts have good views over the bay though.

I loved the many faces of Roebuck Bay. I think it showed the tidal movement better than Cable Beach and the water was forever changing color.

We saw it from the air as well as ground level and it is impressive to see and from the air the town does not feature, seams to blend in with the surroundings, other than the airstrip that you can't very well hide!
