We visited Roebuck Bay to watch the staircase to the moon from Mangrove Hotel in September 2018. It was just magical. Such a beautiful experience. When visiting Broome visit during full moon time to see this natural phenomenon.
Roebuck Bay is a 10 minute drive from Cable Beach with a completely different perspective and different price point and well worth considering if you are considering a trip to Broome. The Mangrove Hotel is a fabulous location to see the staircase to the moon....More

Roebuck Bay covers a huge area. The township, many types of accommodation, restaurants, national park, bird observatory & the wharf are some of the many sights around the bay. We loved the beautiful waters and the red pindan cliffs.
