The beach is not that great. Especially considering you have the magnificent Cable Beach nearby. The sand is red and unpleasant and there are usually lots of drunk locals fighting and yelling at each other nearby. I don't believe they would bother you but it...More

A lovely safe spot to swim for kids and also adults. You have to walk out quite a way when it's low tide. The staircase markets are held here with good food and a great view of the staircase to the moon

Parked by the beach for a break from travel and walked the beach. The tide was out a little way. Mangroves on the end of the beach mean its a good idea to wear shoes if wandering.

This beach has a little bit of everything - azure skies, turquoise water and red rocks. There are markets here (check dates) and it's close enough to the museum to combine visits.

There is a lovely cafe right on town beach that serve meals and drinks. You can sit outside to eat right above beach and get an amazing view of the sea. A regular place I enjoy a coffee when I visit Broome.

The ocean's colours are brilliant. So tropical looking. There is good parking, toilets, free BBQ and a little cafe.

We visited at low tide and high tide - the terrain was truly remarkable! Nature at its best. Definitely worth a visit whilst in Broome.
