This beach has a little bit of everything - azure skies, turquoise water and red rocks. There are markets here (check dates) and it's close enough to the museum to combine visits.

There is a lovely cafe right on town beach that serve meals and drinks. You can sit outside to eat right above beach and get an amazing view of the sea. A regular place I enjoy a coffee when I visit Broome.

The ocean's colours are brilliant. So tropical looking. There is good parking, toilets, free BBQ and a little cafe.

We visited at low tide and high tide - the terrain was truly remarkable! Nature at its best. Definitely worth a visit whilst in Broome.

The view is staggering! We saw someone sitting under the boab tree just reading a book and enjoying the sunshine. The weather was perfect... 27 degrees.

Doesn't get much better than sitting looking out over the glimmering sand, picnic basket and glass of wine at hand, waiting for the moon to set up it's stunning display of Staircase to the Moon!

A crowded market as you would expect on the Staircase to the Moon evenings. Not many places to set so take your own seats.

Yes it is safe, and it is about a 15/20 minute from town centre.
