We had a few minutes and decided to stop to look around Streeter's Jetty and we were pleased that we did. The information boards are interesting and worth reading. The walk to and along the jetty is not very long and when you get a...More

It is a very short walk to the end of the jetty and although no luggers use it anymore it is very peaceful and on low tide many little red crabs are out and about in the mangroves.

Worth a 10 min stop off - not much to see but interesting nonetheless. Apparently more interesting on an evening when all the bats set off

We would have liked to visit this jetty both at low and high tide. Would like to have seen a shade shelter and more history.

A historic structure. Not much to see by itself. Google or read the info provided to get a better appreciation.

It is strange to walk along this fairly short boardwalk as it thrusts out into the mangroves, and think of the large numbers of pearling luggers that used to tie up here, and the various town activities that occurred in the area. This and the...More

Disappointing that the whole jetty was not restored. A very short walk out on the jetty leaves you still in the mangroves. The notice board is very informative.
