Worth a 10 min stop off - not much to see but interesting nonetheless. Apparently more interesting on an evening when all the bats set off

We would have liked to visit this jetty both at low and high tide. Would like to have seen a shade shelter and more history.

A historic structure. Not much to see by itself. Google or read the info provided to get a better appreciation.

Good information provided about both the Japanese and indigenous history. As another reviewer has indicated, it is the history of the original jetty that is of interest rather than its splendour. It is very close to where most tourists would be wandering around Chinatown so...More

The town has made a lot of effort to make the points of interest more interesting. The jetty itself is not that interesting but there is a lot of interesting information and photos mounted as you approach it.

Disappointing that the whole jetty was not restored. A very short walk out on the jetty leaves you still in the mangroves. The notice board is very informative.

A fairly short walk out into what is now mangroves and yes the midges are vicious. Take the time to read the notice board & enjoy the sculpture at the beginning. I’m finding the history of Broome fascinating.

This is a wooden jetty that goes out into the mangroves. WEAR LONG CLOTHING, or insect repellent. Unfortunately at the end of this short jetty are a collection of shopping trolleys and rubbish. Not worth the risk in being attacked by bugs.
