Tucked behind the Town Hall, this nice little bar has Japanese beer on tap and blackboard filled with appealing cocktails. Nice setting with balcony seating. Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.

A little known, small bar with food, tucked away at the back of Swanson Street with a bar overlooking the comings & goings. Just here for drinks this time. Got a seat on the balcony with a heater to take the chill out of the...More

Love bringing friends visiting Melbourne to this little bar. It’s got everything you’re looking for; excellent drinks, well priced, great staff and delicious food. Sitting out on the balcony over Swanston st with good friends and good drinks is hard to top!

We met here for pre-dinner drinks on a sunny Friday afternoon after work and sat outside. It has a great atmosphere and yummy cocktails. Can get quite busy inside around 6pm.

Can’t fault this place. Great staff, friendly and helpful. The flatbread at lunch for $10 was very good and a wide range of drinks at the bar. Great spot.

We strolled up to this hidden little gem to meet some friends for a quick drink and we ended up staying all night long. The space is definitely intimate but that suited us perfectly as we enjoyed squeezing a group of friends around a table...More

The entrance is around the rear and upstairs. It’s a quirky little bar and as the name suggests it’s the balcony that is the highlight. Looking down over the pedestrians. A good variety of unique cocktails. Beers are basically all boutique variety that I’m not...More

We spotted the balcony for this bar from Swanston Street then had to figure out where the door was. It turned out to be around the back of the building in an alley. The barman was very welcoming and we took our drinks onto the...More

Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways
tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary

city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques,
throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You
never quite know what you’ll find around the next
corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and
even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air
