Another small museum, but with a great group of enthusiastic volunteers. Well worth seeking out. Huge amount of exhibits in here, interesting for all.

Absolutely amazing seeing the variety of exhibits - have walked past many times wondering about the distinctive character of the building. Inside though is another story - only a small space but so interesting with the variety of exhibits outlying the history of the fire...More

this museum is run by volunteers, who do an amazing job. Every Friday they have demonstrations for local schools and we were priviliged to be able to attend one of these. a fascinating museum that tells the history of Melbournes Fire Services

Apart from the collection of old fire appliances they have a fantastic collection of helmets and insurance broker plaques. There are some interesting uniforms from both Melbourne/country Victoria and overseas. There are also lots of other pieces such as breathing apparatus and various fire extinguishers....More
