We cherish the idea of haring a Victoria Police Force Museum, but what’s there isn’t it. It’s difficult to find, there being no signs on Flinders Street to direct visitors, it’s a small chamber on the first floor, the internal lighting is gloomy, the exhibits’...More

This is an average museum presenting the history of Victoria Police from days of the Bushrangers to the present day. Of the fairly pedestrian displays on offer a highlight would be wrecked car from the Russell Street bombing.

A very interesting place to visit. Great exhibit on Women in the Police force over the years. Interesting to read some of the old cases, and finding out that people used to be shorter!

Thanks Kylie! We are glad you enjoyed your visit. People certainly did used to be shorter, the infamous Squizzy Taylor is certainly proof of that!!
