While in Melbourne we went for a look. Was great inside and out. We were very lucky while we were there, inside was the Ned Kelly armour which was awesome to see.

The library not only has history, it is beautiful and in terrific condition. We may well spend some time there again as there is plenty of interest. The architecture, the displays, and even the cafe are worth visits.

Walked past this impressive looking building and decided to pop in, based on a comment that someone made- referred to this as a "theme park for the thinking mind". It is a beautiful building inside, definitely worth the look. Engaging exhibitions, like the history of...More

Fabulous historical building, huge. Popular for tourists and students. Architecture and design is very impressive, well maintained and well worth a look. Cafe on site, handy central location.

A trip here is a trip to a slower time of books and displays. The building has been renovated and just the view of the reading room makes the trip worth while.

city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques,
throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You
never quite know what you’ll find around the next
corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and
even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air
