Art street lane in Australia. The street is not very long but the arts on the walls are very variety. Sometimes it is difficult to take a photo because many people visits there.

Fantastic story work continually changing as more artists add to the display. Lots of tourists here but that's to be expected. We watched an artist spraying which was great. Huge talent here, recommended if you're in to street art.

Love the different painted arts offered in the city. The street is wide enough to fit a big crowd. Everyone was there to take pretty photos and I’m all for it!

You can take a little self guided tour wondering a few of the lanes, they are all quite different, some with street art, some with restaurants and bars and some more elegant with lovely shops.

Here in the US, graffiti is so much of a nuisance and eyesore. Our visit to Hosier Lane gave us a new perspective on "graffiti". We saw the work of some very talented artists working on a challenging media. These artists really give a new...More

Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways
tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary
feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the
city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques,
throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You
never quite know what you’ll find around the next
corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and
even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air

It's just an open street so no closing time. I wouldn't recommend going after dark -- you won't be able to see all the art and it does have a few lurkers.
