Another accidental find. Beautiful location offering spectacular views on a nice day. Park benches invite and slow pace to take in the scenery in the rays of the sun for winter basking. Nearby cafe looks inviting, but we didn't try on this occasion. Could easily...More

We visited on a lovely sunny day and the views from there are spectacular... we took amazing pics...the signal station has a small interesting museum...the cafe there has stunning views and lovely scones...

What a great experience and such a great view, interesting and short walk for people, went their with a group of children they had a wonderful time, certainly worth a look if you have the time.

Went to Mount Nelson on the last day of our Hobart trip and wasn't disappointed. So amazingly gorgeous! Great cafe up there too to have a cuppa and scones. Do it!

the cheapest way to view the city from mount nelson is to walk to franklin square and catch a Metro bus from stop N a route 58 weekdays or 57 weekends and public holidays, the cost per adult would be $4.40 one way full fare... More
