A perfect setting for the musical I attended. The acoustics were extremely good and most of the seating had unobstructed views. Well worth a visit just to see the period features and stunning chandeliers.

Came here to watch comedy, sound projection was good and ushers helpful. The wait to use the toilet is ridiculous- something needs to be done about this. Drink prices a little expensive.

Step back in time to 1920s Hollywood glamour. We attended the Circus Oz show and our children absolutely adored it. The ambience is breath taking and the staff were wonderful, letting our girls explore the higher levels during intermission. A wonderful family night out.

I came, I saw, I quoted Shakespeare on the stage of the oldest and most important and most beautiful theatre in Australia. The tour is superb, thanks Pip. Not to be missed. Enchanting.

Fantastic theatre, amazing decor. I prefer the dress circle front row if I can get it. If not go the third row (it has a better view than the 2nd row).

Yes, as you can see from the previous comment, we are very proud that Vivien Leigh performed here in 'The School for Scandal' with the Old Vic Company in 1948.
