Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A spectacular journey without a hassle. It is worth to mention Alex, our tour guide, is very professional and a caring person. He made everyone’s journey absolutely amazing. Very knowledgeable, knows very well history of Tasmania and it’s habitat. Alex is our third tour guide in Tasmania, and we were very lucky to have him. Alex made sure everyone is keeping up with the pace, no one gets left behind. He is indeed a well-mannered, needless to say a good looking gentleman. About his professional skills: an experienced driver that KNOWS how to drive a vehicle smoothly. Also, he really cares what is happening around, has high attention to details. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. Once again, thank you for making our day, it matters a lot, especially to tourists like us. We wish you a great journey

What a fantastic and well organized tour! Alex was just wonderful - knowledgeable and super friendly. He made the entire group really comfortable through the trip, and this was especially great for me because I was traveling solo. As someone who enjoys hiking, I went in with the expectation that there won’t be any hiking at all, and therefore wasn’t disappointed. There was a bit of hiking to Wineglass bay view points which were all uphill, and Alex was very considerable to carry hiking poles for those who needed them. He went out of his way to make sure we got a great experience, and I really appreciated that. I’ll definitely be back with a bigger group and will be exploring again with Alex.

Did this tour with Alex who was a very informative guide.
This is a long day and you spend quite a bit of time on the bus but Alex always has some quaint story to tell you about the area you are in.
You start off at Richmond to take a photo of the convict bridge and stop at a number of picturesque locations along the way.

The walk to the Wineglass bay lookout was ok if you are fit but may be challenging if you are not. It’s about 1.5 hours return. Alex offers walking poles if you require them.
The views were well worth the effort. Tasmania is such a beautiful state.

Alex warned us to eat something when we stopped off at a cafe in the morning as if we wanted to have lunch at the winery we wouldn’t get there till 2.30pm. You can get sandwiches and stop off at a beach for lunch but we chose to go to the winery.
We got to the winery around 3.00pm and had a lovely pizza with beautiful views. I would have liked to have ordered the mussels but wasn’t game to as the bus trip made me queezy.
We then stopped off at Kates Berry Farm where we had the best strawberry ice cream I have ever had and this also had lovely views.

The only thing that would improve this tour is for Alex to slow down when driving.
One girl threw up in the bus. I suffer from travel sickness and was double drugged up but had to keep my eye closed for the majority of my time in the bus due to the speed Alex was driving at. Another lady also had her eyes closed because we were all terrified of the driving and were nervously laughing amongst ourselves.
So great trip, thoroughly recommend it but Alex please slow down so we can enjoy it more.

The Wineglass Bay Tours day trip up to Freycinet national park was a highlight of our trip to Hobart
Geno was a great guide, picked us up nice and early and was incredibly informative on so many topics on our trip up to the park
His passion for Tassie and sharing knowledge complimented the visual spectacle perfectly.
I highly recommend this company if you’re looking for an engaging and knowledgeable guide to to show you around this beautiful part of the country.

I went on the Wineglass Bay Day Tour with Phil and had an incredible time. Phil has a deep knowledge of the island. He told us very interesting stories and I learned a lot about the wildlife of the area. It was a sunny and clear sky so we took beautiful pictures from the lookout, I also had the chance to go down to the beach and have a nice swim into the sea. It was a perfect day tour!

As a solo traveller this was a fantastic way to explore the Freycinet area in one day and at an affordable price! Phil our guide + driver was absolutely fantastic! Super friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. I'm from Australia and I didn't know 90% of the information Phil provided! Easily the highlight of my long weekend trip to Hobart. Even though it was a bit overcast, the views and places were still fantastic. Going on this trip makes me want to come back to Tasmania to explore the coastline for even longer.
