Biggest outdoor market in Australia, every Saturday for 10 years going strong. Very popular. Home made Tasmanian goods and food.

Only opened on Saturday. A market with lots of food and things to buy (the handicraft items are nice). For family with young children, give yourself about 3-4hrs to take a slow walk and stop at few points for food. Go early when it opens...More

Love going to markets and while it is a must do in Hobart on a Saturday, it doesn't really compare to other markets. The produce is very good but the clothing stalls are very basic, little that you would want to take home.

This is the biggest market I've been to in Australia! Well organised with a huge variety of stalls. Worth a visit! We spent quite a few hours there - we tried a wallaby burrito which was Devine!

I would allow around 4 hours to go through the market in total. You may wish to sample some of the foods and of course a good coffee!
