Definitely busy but not too bad. Love Tassie food so sampled everything we could and brought some home with us too. My 3yo loved it!

A great place to visit. So many lovely stores. For locals or visitors to Hobart. Many little eateries to try local produce. So happy we were here on a Saturday.

Everyone always says, "you HAVE to go to the Salamanca markets when in Hobart" but to me, they are just another market (admittedly in a gorgeous setting). There was some good food there though.

I would allow around 4 hours to go through the market in total. You may wish to sample some of the foods and of course a good coffee!
