The Hobart Rivulet Tour has to be self-guided because there is no longer any official tour but it is worth the effort. The Cascade Gardens, between the Cascades Brewery, established in 1824 and the Female Factory, which opened in 1828, were first planted in 1827...More

This tour is no longer running. Other Waterways Tours are occasionally run by the Hobart City Council under the Bush Adventures program, but the Hobart Rivulet Tour no longer exists due to safety concerns with the Rivulet tunnel.

This is a fabulous tour for history buffs. Walk under the city gaining another perspective of life in Colonial Hobart. The tour won't go if there has been too much rain, but it is enchanting!
