Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Signposting and maps for this area could be improved. I tried from one entry and gave up, drove around to Strickland Falls, and crossed over to Rivulet Track which took me up to O'Grady Falls.

Not sure its worth the effort, the falls were nice, the walk very ordinary

Easy walk from Pinnacle Rd along the fire trail. It is mountain-buggy/jogging pram friendly with good suspension. Well signposted even though we missed one. Our error. The falls are quite small, not much adventure to be had. Maybe if we drove a little further up Pinnacle Rd and entered via another steeper track it would have been more exciting.

We followed the gps to find the track to take us to the falls - Fingerpost Track. We went up a street and parked the car. The street was on a hill - it was almost vertical! 😂😂
We were exhausted when we got to the top of just that road hahaha but we took a breath and kept on trekking.
We got a bit lost and were about to walk uphill because it seemed logical and we ran into a lovely older couple who lived in the area and helped us to get there.
It was a very cute waterfall and a really lovely walk.
Loved it!

45 minutes return leaving from Bracken Lane. Nice easy stroll to the waterfall , which is mountain bike and dog friendly track. Great views of the Mountain, Organ Pipes and overlooking Hobart.

Chanced upon this one when googling waterfalls close to Hobart. It came up as a 'pram' walk. Possible I guess for a serious pusher but a bit rough in places. Basically a fire track walk taking in the organ pipes then this delightful waterfall. Apparently there is a resident platypus, but we were not that lucky.

Bit of a secret to the people from interstate, though the locals know all about it. Head up to Mt Wellington and look out, on the right, for the (old fashioned) track signpost in the foothills. Take the fire trail then the waterfall track and be rewarded with a gorgeous multi-tiered waterfall after an encounter with ferns and beautiful woodland. More adventurous types can cross the lookout bridge and head to the next set of Strickland Falls.
