Do not confuse this one with the City Hall. Hobart Town Hall is incredible inside. Check out the Ballroom and staircase. Honour rolls and other fascinating items.

Hobart's town hall is impressive and eye-catching. Like other major buildings in the Tasmanian capital, it forms a beautiful urban landscape.

I have enjoyed many events here, especially concerts, but also flower shows which are on regularly, and an arts forum. It's very grand but on a very human scale. Try to visit as it's really rather special.
