Wonderful way to travel to MONA world class and original museum. Trip takes 20 minutes each way. Wonderful views and documentary. Modern ferry with three levels. Has bar and coffee shop, food, etc.

The Mosh Pit offers canapes and champagne for the trip up the Derwent from Hobart to MONA. A very relaxed atmosphere and the decor gives a hint of the madness you'll see at MONA. Even the trip home - with more food and wine -...More

It was a posh way to travel to Mona. The service staff was friendly and attentive. The canapes were delicious and I wanted more.

What a different ferry experience! From the sheep on the rear deck to the bright pink torpedos at the front and the slightly moody nightclub feel to the interior, it had something to impress all members of my family. A very quick, comfortable ride.

Sorry, I only discovered I had messages so you've probably already visited. It's a river trip so not usually rough. I can also get seasick but the ferry is very, very stable. Give it a go.Good luck and enjoy.
