Mangler Hill is nothing special. It’s a hill with a bit of a lookout. There is a quite nice view but underwhelming view of the local area and that’s it really. My mother-in-laws ashes were scattered there because she was born there. I believe many...More

George took us here on the wine tour June, we where lucky the rain held off, I think the view is great but if you turn 180 degrees it is sad, the carpark looks like a tired shopping center one, the council should invest some...More

A great view across the Barossa. Easily accessible car park. Walking distance to see sculptures. Well set out

Our tour guide took us up to this point. But it is easy enough to do if self-driving. Parking can be busy, but just be patient and wait and you will get one after a few mins.

Stayed at Novotel Barossa Valley Resort which was outstanding. Used as a base to visit Tanunda & Nuriootpa area, shopping and cellar door wineries. Drove to lookout up Mengler Hill..terrific view overlooking the Barossa, 180 degrees...very relaxing area.

Excellent views of Adelaide city. Easy to get to, but not many parking places. Reasonably well kept and we understand about to have an upgrade.

Take this scenic route on your way to or from Angaston or n the Barossa Valley, past gum trees and vines.

A beautiful end to a magic day trip to the Barossa Valley. You can't beat good wine and good food and we didn't have to drive. Throw in a visit to Maggie Beer's farm shop and we were in gastronomic heaven.

Mengler Hill is a lovely little detour to break up visits to the wineries (if you even need a break, that is!). The view down over the Barossa is excellent and the addition of the many sculptures makes a walk around the immediate area that...More
