    Centre of the CBD
The beautiful old architecture in Rundle Mall is the main draw card for this precinct, with street art and pop-up vans selling French pastries and lovely bunches of flowers being added attractions. Sadly, the ubiquitous big-name shops are the only ones to be found here, with boutique originals probably unable to afford the rent here. The dining options here are plentiful, affordable and generally delicious.

    Worth the wander
But make sure it is before 5 o’clock (17:00). Even on Fridays some shops close at that time tho most are open later on Friday. Fun just to stroll and people watch 👍 Of course you WILL see something you absolutely must buy 🤔

Lots of unique shops to experience!
We were spoilt for choice with all that Rundle Mall had to offer on our visit! An underground opal mine, beautiful views of the mall from myer centre, a step back in time in the 1880s Adelaide Arcade, and a delicious selection of chocolates in Haighs. The mall is short and sweet, but walk slowly because you will easily walk past some of the smaller arcades, which is where we found some of our favourite shops! Keep an eye out for Balfours Bakery, Charlesworth Nuts, R.M Williams, Blackbys Sweet Shop and Haighs Chocolates if you are wanting to see some unique South Australian shops!

Comparable to Bourke Street Mall in Melbourne but longer. Plenty of diversions to curiously investigate and see what’s there. Sadly like Melbourne many shops in the side arcades for lease and empty. Wife happy as found a jacket style prior hunted in major retail shop. Pretty day and many shoppers on the move.

Rundle St has a pedestrian outdoor mall and then the enclosed portion. Very nice to wander here and to do some shopping. There are performers on the mall most of the day and early evening so it was most interesting to repeatedly walk through here.

We thought Rundle Mall was excellent. Similar to Bourke Street Melbourne but so many more retailers and no hassle of trams in the middle of the street. very easy to navigate.

There’s a lot of good food mall type options here. It was pretty affordable with a good variety. But the shops were mainly the same brands that you find in any Australia city. Not really my thing

It was Sunday and pouring rain on our day so hardly seen at it's best, but a most attractive area with an enormous selection of shops. Would have liked to have seen more small specialty places, but inner city rents don't encourage that I guess.

The mall is when is all is aid and done a shopping mall, is has it places some charm, and some of the shops are a bit dated. For us, nothing really special.

The Rundle Mall has the ANZ bank, Bank SA, City Library, Coles, Commonwealth Bank, David Jones, K Mart, Mc Donalds, Myer, Woolworths and many other shops.
