I have been to Himeji Gardens several times during visits to Adelaide. Located on South Terrace, these gardens are a delight to the senses. Beautifully manicured gardens, shaped hedges and bonsais, large stones, a pond with turtles and carp, these gardens are breath takingly beautiful...More

Not an overly big place but big enough to slowly stroll around and take in the peace and well manicured gardens with water flowing into ponds through bamboo fountains, statues, seating areas for photography or art opportunities. Well worth a look and free to enter.

No, it is a quiet, “hidden secret” sort of place, I have never seen a lot of people there, but it is a lovely escape from the bustling city

No food or drink available here. The garden is small and serene, perfect for relaxation and contemplation.

Fair bit of parking just on the street. It is at one end of South Terrace and near a hospital so it is a bit hit and miss. I don't think there is any cost involved in parking there.
