The Adelaide Central market is the place to get a variety of food and fruits at decent prices. Highly recommended if you are doing your own cooking whilst in Adelaide.

We dropped by the market at the end of our walking tour. The luscious stone fruit looked amazing as did the meats and cheeses.

Second time I've been there now and not disappointed. Popped into the Asian food Hall and got too full to do a proper produce shop! The variety of seasonal fresh produce, deli, seafood and dried foods is simply brilliant! If you're ever short on inspiration...More

It is really nice to see both locals and visitors shopping and eating in this wonderfully real market, with so much variety on offer (especially spices and other dry goods, fruits and veggies, meat and seafood). Very nice selection of restaurants too.

It’s far more oriented to fresh produce. May have a gadget stall around the outside or nearer the food court.
