Originally from Paris and used to Le Louvre and Orsay museum, I was impressed by Adelaide Art Gallery's amazing mix of art pieces from various origins and styles, arranged together around universal themes. The temporary exhibition dedicated to Chiharu Shiota was a nice discovery.

There are great touring exhibitions, and the permanent display makes this a must for art lovers. There is also a nice area at the back to sit and enjoy a coffee if the weather is good.
