Whitehaven Beach is without doubt one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Mile after mile of pure silica sand with fringed by, turquoise sea. Whitsunday Island, despite being the largest of the Whitsundays remains completely undeveloped and is only accessible by boat or seaplane. A must to visit if you are visiting the islands. I recommend getting there... More

Whitehaven beach was spectacular! Beautiful sand and the bluest waters everywhere you look! Pristine beauty! We took a hovercraft tour over, hiked up the hill to the look-out and it was just gorgeous! Couldn't wait to get down to play in the sand with the brown sting rays swimming by in the shallows - awesome memories! Then we went to... More

Just breathtaking, a luxuriant and so well preserved nature at 360 degrees and even some turtles to swim with...you never want to leave this place and find yourself dreaming of living at the original aboriginal times... An absolut must do in a lifetime!

Loved this beach it was beautiful. The only regret was we should have booked a couple of nights on one of the yachts and sailed there first thing in the morning when no other visitors were there. Selfish, yeah! definitely would love to go back one day.

Tim and Oliver took us out on the seabob, it was the coolest thing ever, I told him I wanted to see beautiful coloured coral and they did not disappoint , Oliver made the tour so much fun , he taught my girls how to do barrel rolls and flips while I enjoyed the amazing fish and coral reefs. Tim... More

Great spot for a day. Get there early and stay late. Bring a bit of sun protection if possible. Do the look-out first, then head down to the beach for the rest of the day. Check out the manta-rays and baby lemon sharks in the sandy tide pools under the look-out. Best time is low tide, as the channel is... More

We went on this beach within a daytrip snorkeling. The white silica sand and blue water is amazing, worth to see and enjoy. Due to jellyfishes it was not safe to swim without stingersuit but at least we have funny pics ;)
