A friend of mine said this was a must-do for sunrise but I'm not much of a morning person so we went for an afternoon stroll and it's really beautiful. undulating with some steep bits and a lot of stairs at the end. But well...More

Quite a strenuous hike to the top but well worth it as the views are amazing. We saw Whitehaven Beach as well as many other islands - a highly recommended activity and it's free!!

At 60 we can still climb the peaks. Did all three in one day ... Resort Lookout, Flat Top Hill and Passage Peak. The tracks were great, the views spectacular.

This is a must do if you’re fit. Try running it. Only a handful survive. You can do it much slower like we did and the view from the top over the Whitsundays islands is nothing short of spectacular! Be warned though, after a short...More

This scenic walk certainly gets your heart pumping. Best thing is that the track is in the shade in the morning and the views at the top make it all worthwhile.

You'll get the best views from this peak. It's a gruelling walk but oh the satisfaction of having done it AND boast to fellow tourists that you've done it. Take your time and take water. And your camera of course

This walk was challenging however I endured the descent and made it to the top for stunning views around Hamilton Island. From the top we could see the airport, marina and Catseye Cove. Takes about 30 minutes to reach the peak and 20 minutes to...More

Feeling guilty from lying around eating and drinking my 14 year old daughter and I decided to climb Passage Peak. It has sections that are flat'ish so that you can catch your breath and the paths are well looked after and wide. AWESOME views.

Wow, what a hike! I've gotten really into (easy) hiking the past few years, and this is definitely one that stands out in my mind. The hike itself wasn't as difficult as I expected. Don't get me wrong - it's very steep, especially near the...More

Walk to the end of the beach where the track starts and go from there. Depending on where you leave from only adds around 1km if easy walking to the track

I think it took us an hour to get up there. We are young 30's, hubby is in better shape than me. There was definitely some sweating (a lot of sweating) and a few "we did this to us" moments. Some parts are steep and it was... More

If you are really fit and prepared for a steep stepped track at the end then it’s possible. I don’t think this 44 year unfit mummy could but if you want to and are fit it’s no harm setting off and having a go!
