Beautiful beach. Rugged track, best suited for the goats here.not worth the long hard hike. Coral is a bit far from the shore. Much closer and easier access at shelving beach.

The reef at Monkey Beach is a long way out so you need to be a strong swimmer & even then a noodle would be a great idea. Snorkel hire is $20 per person not far from where the Keppel Konnections ferry lands. It's a...More

Although it takes a longish walk to get there, snorkelling at low time is rewarding for all who make the effort.

We visited Monkey Beach with two young kids whilst doing the 'Monkey Point (inc Long Beach) Walk. It was an absolutely stunning stretch of sand. Think deserted beach with white sand, aqua water and great snorkelling........minus the price tag usually associated with this beauty.
