does what it says on the tin...spectacular views of SP
The SkyPoint Observation Deck is located in the tallest residential tower in Australia. It is found on the 77th level of the Q1 hotel. The Observation Deck is 230m high and allows for 360-degree views of the Gold Coast. It takes less than 1 minute to reach the top! We didnt have any food or drink but just took in the views all around....see the pics.
Glad you enjoyed the view, and we appreciate your feedback.

77th floor panoramic 360 views from the Coastline to Hinterland
Recommend you arrive an hour before sunset and stay until the darkness sets in! We bought online but still need to queue to enter! Don’t recommend main meal, too crowded and no atmosphere and views blocked by all the view photographers! However coffee and cake…baked New York cheesecake is nice! The lift ride is interesting, as on the lift ceiling it shows/televises your journey through the floors up to the 77th floor!
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.

    Worth the money, stunning views!
We weren’t sure we wanted to spend the money ($60 AUD for two adults, views only) but it was worth it. Stunning views from every angle! We went around 10:30am on a Saturday and it wasn’t too busy, more people coming down than going up the express elevator. Recommend!
Amazing thank you, glad to hear.

The Observation Deck speaks for itself. We have been on previous occasions. Magnificent and spectacular views. This time we decided to do the buffet breakfast which is only slightly dearer that just doing the Observation Deck on its own. What a find. A buffet breakfast on the Gold Coast for under $44. I thought it would be a limited buffet but I was wrong. It was a full buffet with hot and cold foods, cereals, toast, muffins, and desserts. Very impressed. We ate and then walked around to look at the views and came back to our seats and ate some more. Staff were attentive, courteous, and replenishing food all the time. Well done to all.
Thank you so much for leaving such a valuable review on our buffet breakfast. Do hope we see you again soon.

Breath-taking views of the area around Surfer's Paradise.
Was invited to an early morning (birthday) breakfast with friends and family. You really can't beat the view. And the buffet selections were quite tasty and there was a little something for everyone. The place was packed so remember to make a reservation and wear sunscreen, bring a hat and sunglasses, because if you sit on the sunny side, the glare can be quite strong.
    Appreciate your valuable feedback.

    Reasonable prices and good atmosphere
Its $10 AUD (£5 in english money) entry to be able to go up to the observation deck which i think is more than reasonable given the views you get. There is also a restaurant called skypoint and they offer cakes and coffee as well as food to sit in and dine, again a very reasonable price for the place you're at. I got the chicken schnitzel and it was ok, ive had better but the portion was big and i wasnt paying a bomb. Definitely a good place for an instagram picture. And i would come again when i next visit gold coast
Thank you for leaving valuable feedback.

Nice chill activity to do although drinks at top very expensive. My teenagers enjoyed this chilled activity as did I. Not much effort to take part , great views at the top, very beautiful inside too.
    Appreciate your feedback, thank you.

    Disappointing
On paying entry, I had misplaced my seniors card, I am 70 years old, my husband and sister had theirs. I explained I did have a card though. No he would not give me a seniors discount. Went up, the view was fantastic, but not sure I think the view was worth paying $92 for 3 of us. I would never do it again. To top it off, had to use the bathroom, no toilet paper. Was not impressed. Coffee and cake was an over inflated price too.

First the main note, check before you come about restaurant times and be prepared to wait.

The views are stunning and the place is immaculately designed, it’s major flaw is in the dining area agains the window. The centre area is bright white lighting that just reflects into the windows. It really detracts from the view and could be a cool addition to have them dim every 15-20 mins.

The staff once again have been working in tourism too long and couldn’t crack a smile both downstairs and at the restaurant.

Food is good, but average for the price and drinks are expensive compared to other places on the Gold Coast.

Entry is also expensive for really what could be a 10 min experience.

It's okay - good if you want a view of the Gold Coast, but at $27 per ticket it's a bit pricey!

We purchased theme park tickets (3 day multi-pass) so this came as part of a deal which was nice, but we also had a couple of guests that paid for the opportunity to ascend to level 77.

Whilst I don't deny the views are pleasant, I think the entry fee is a bit much. And I was peeved at the number of people standing on the information boards, so that learning about the area was somewhat challenging.

If the prices were half what they are now, it might be worth it. Otherwise, take a drive to Springbrook National Park for truly spectacular views.

This is normally not my cup of tea. I often find this type of thing gimmicky and touristy but this was terrific. We only went as we had two free tickets and thought why not. We had an additional person with us so bought them a ticket as they wanted to check it out. The service was good and fast , the views were incredible. It was really nicely done. We didn't eat or drink up there but it was really well priced and looked good. You could spend anything from 1 -3 hours up there reading bits of trivia type info and enjoying the sites. Really lovely

Great view and visible COVID management/cleaning on first day of reopening. We used our 12 month Dreamworld pass which saved us a lot and allowed us to see it at different times of the day. The open plan dining feels like a airport transit lounge - if you're into that.

The views from the 77th floor of the Q1 building are spectacular, we spent a few hours obseving these views, the sea facinated me looking down on to it. Once you have your ticket you can re enter, we took advantage of this and came back to watch the sun set.
Food and drink is fairly priced, we really enjoyed our time at Skypoint.

Best place in the Gold Coast to capture every view possible.

I had teenagers in tow and they thought this was spectacular.

We were staying at the Q1 and bought our ticket including a buffet breakfast for $30 per adult (anyone over 13 is an adult). This was great value as the breakfast was nice, especially the fact that they include your own cooked eggs and to have this included as well as the observation deck views was fantastic.

We will return and highly recommend this to anyone!

My wife and I attended the Skypoint NYE Party with 5 other couples. At a cost of $205 per ticket one would expect something a little special. The cocktail on arrival(as advertised) did not occur. The canapés were very few and far between. Our group received nothing because the line to the slider dispensery was 30 meters long. Guests were lined up for more than half an hour to be served. Beer was warm and was boutique beer that most didn't like and had to pay more to get the run of the mill beer if you could get to the bar at all. Little to no chairs at an event that went for 6 hours saw staff scrambling for chairs for guests to sit on. Their excuse was "but its a cocktail party". Music was terrible and the croud cheered when the band went off stage. Our party left and went to another premis at 10pm. near buy to bring in the new year. Our party all agreed that it was extremely poorly organised and decided to complain. After a lot of to and frowing we wete refunded half. Not good enough. We had nill to drink or eat except what we paid for ourselves at an exorbitant rate. I have since learnt that all events at Skypoint tun slong the same lines. If you are after a beer and a great view throughout the day, it's a good look albeit expensive to get to Skypoint. Food is average at best.

We walked here from the main beach at Surfers Paradise, really looking forward to a nice, relaxed lunch, overlooking the Gold Coast.
Admission price, for "deck and dine" we thought, was reasonable, considering you get $20 back to spend at the bar.
We were stopped for a photo as we walked in.
The lift takes you up 77 floors to the sky deck and the views are incredible.
Our experience was, however, less than exciting. Tables next to the windows were all reserved, and most remained empty during our entire visit.
The menu was dreadful and not in keeping with the kind of place it is. This place is somewhere special, but the menu was certainly not. Pizza or fried food was all that was on offer, with a couple of salads thrown in. There was simply nothing that I wanted to eat.
The atmosphere was noisy, with small children running around everywhere.
There was no table service. You have to collect your food from a designated counter.
In all, disappointing. I wouldn't recommend it to friends and, if we visit Australia again, this won't be on our list.

Had the Sunday breakfast after a local recommended it, and we are happy that we heard about it. Excellent views over the Surfers Paradise Coast and very good value for money for the breakfast - $30 p/p and included a Continental plus American breakfast. Cannot beat that kind of deal for a Sunday breakfast! Food was very delicious, especially the super fresh pastries like the croissants and danish pastries, so delicate and buttery, I think a french chef works there! My husband doesn’t normally like pastries however he ate his share, worth every cent.

Great views but a bit over priced I felt. Your ticket does allow you to go as many times as you wish that day but most people go to have a look and then leave so I thought it was expensive.

I personally despise attractions that take your pic on arrival then try and sell you an expensive copy on exit. Tourists get hit with this gimmick everywhere. Try something new.
