This was in my bucket list for the trip to far north Queensland. We went over as a group of 6 for the half day at Green Island. Only I was keen on doing the helmet dive so was a bit apprehensive on the boat...More

I had done a seawalker dive in Bali a few years back and the experience was nothing like what I remember from that time. The staff at the dive shop was quite insistent on this as opposed to the scuba, but in all fairness I...More

The rundown, it’s fantastic but keep a few things in mind. If you are easily nauseous make sure you take motion sickness meds before getting the helmet put on your head or well before the excursion. The glass is thick and has angles creating an...More

This experience was our highlight of Green Island. It was so much fun start to finish :) you get a nice long time in the water and they take so many pictures which you can purchase but they are worth it as they are great...More

This is a great way to go underwater without doing a full dive course! Unlike snorkeling the fish swim around you and you get to see the reef from a whole new angle! The equipment is safe and really easy to use! The staff were...More

Before all is said and done, I have to mention that the main reason that my daughter and I went to Green Island was to do the Seawalker. Unfortunately my daughter, who had her heart set on this experience, was disappointed by the fact that...More

Hi NatOvc, Thank you for your review, we are thrilled that you were able to have a 'fascinating' time on our Great Barrier Reef experience. Seawalker is also very disappointed that your daughter was not able to participate in the experience with you and we...More

I'd read about the Seawalker, and not being a good swimmer, thought it would be a good idea. The fact that you only spend ten minutes actually under the water and the only creature, apart from fish, we saw was a clam was a bit...More

Hi Peter, It is good to get your feedback as it reinforces a project that our management team is working on at the moment, a 'fluid' customer guided tour. We have recognized that our customers may have significantly different ideas of what they would like...More

David J., your PR manager, is quite good at responding to TripAdvisor review concerns, which is appreciated. The biggest concern I see in the reviews is having a shorter time for the walk than promised. David says: "Mail our General Manager directly on karl.kuhle, as he would like to see if there is any way of helping make this up to you." We are planning a trip to Cairns -- from California, USA -- within the next year, and the Seawalk sounds wonderful. However, $10 minutes below for $160 is quite pricey. If we don't get our full time below, offering us something to "help make it up" such as a free or reduced rate return visit would not be meaningful, as we're not likely to be back in Cairns in the foreseeable future. We'd much prefer a guarantee that, if we don't get our promised time below, we get a full refund. Might that be something you can offer?
